The privacy policy statement below discloses the privacy policy of SmartRoam Pte Ltd (“SmartRoam”) relating to and governing all use of ChatTime Application, ChatTime Service and/or ChatTime website (hereinafter referred to jointly as ”ChatTime”). ChatTime may contain links to other sites at which personal information is collected. You should view the privacy policy of each site that may be linked from ChatTime as it may contain different privacy policies.

1. General

SmartRoam respects the privacy of every individual who uses ChatTime, any web pages or, responds to any interactive advertisements associated to ChatTime. This Privacy Statement outlines the information that SmartRoam will collect and how that information will be used. If you do not consent to these privacy practices, please do not use ChatTime. This privacy policy does not govern SmartRoam’s privacy policy associated with offline activities or other sites or products and services not available or enabled via ChatTime, unless otherwise expressly stated in this Privacy Policy. This Statement will also instruct you on what to do if you do not want your personal information collected or shared when you use ChatTime, respond to our Web-based advertisements or send us e-mail.

2. Security

Forms from SmartRoam on ChatTime requesting personally identifiable information, utilizes a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol to provide "secure sessions" for users. During the "secure SSL session," such personally identifiable information that you submit will arrive privately and unaltered at a SmartRoam or SmartRoam engaged server or gateway (such as third party payment gateway).

3. Personally Identifiable Information

SmartRoam only collects personally identifiable information relevant to the use of ChatTime.

SmartRoam only uses this information in the following ways, unless stated otherwise:

SmartRoam will neither sell personally identifiable information to third parties, unless stated at the time of collection nor will SmartRoam share information with third parties including SmartRoam’s business partners except as necessary for the purposes of managing your account and completing your requested transaction. In relation to this, SmartRoam will need to share the personally identifiable information with payment and other gateway providers. For the purposes of clarification, “third parties” do not include SmartRoam’s subsidiaries or affiliates or parent company (“Related Companies”) and as such, SmartRoam may share such personally identifiable information with its Related Companies.

4. Non Personally Identifiable Information Collected Automatically

In some cases, SmartRoam may collect information about you that is not personally identifiable. Examples of this type of information include the type of Internet Browser you are using, the type of computer operating system you are using, and the domain name of the Website and/or Internet Service Provider from which you linked to ChatTime, webpages or advertisement. Similar to personally identifiable information, SmartRoam will not sell non personally identifiable information to third parties, unless stated at the time of collection. SmartRoam may share non personally identifiable information with business partners.

ChatTime may use third-party beacons to help analyze where visitors go and what they do while visiting the Site. Any beacon may use anonymous information about your visits in order to improve its products and services and provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you.

5. Declining E-mail Offers

As outlined in Section 3, SmarRoam may send e-mail promotions or announcements. At any time, you may remove yourself from such mailings by raising a support request from the ChatTime application with the word "Remove" in the email body copy.

6. Managing Customer Data

If you have submitted personally identifiable information via the Application and would like to correct or modify such personally identifiable information you may do so by emailing support[at]chattime.zendesk.com If you have provided your personally identifiable information through a third party, please contact the third party on how your personally identifiable information may be modified. For the purposes of record keeping and/or managing customer accounts, it may be necessary for SmartRoam to retain personally identifiable information in SmartRoam’s files.

8. Updates to policy

SmartRoam reserves the right to update SmartRoam’s privacy policy from time to time without providing any specific notice to you. Updates to SmartRoam’s privacy policy will be published at www.chattimeapp.com/privacy. You should visit SmartRoam’s privacy policy page to review SmartRoam’s then current privacy policy, because they are binding on you. Your continued use of this Application shall be considered your consent to any revised privacy practices or policies. If SmartRoam sells its assets (or the assets of a division or subsidiary) to another entity, or SmartRoam (or a division or subsidiary) is acquired by or merged with another entity, you agree that SmartRoam may provide to such entity your information that is related to that part of SmartRoam’s business that was sold to or merged with the other entity without obtaining your further consent, but SmartRoam will provide notice of such asset sales, acquisitions, or mergers on this Site.
