Yes. ChatTime works by converting your international call into a local call so that you can call anytime without Wi-Fi and with consistently great call quality. Your operator airtime minutes will be used only for placing a local call; ChatTime manages the international part of the call.
However, many countries offer free calling to local numbers, for example AT&T’s ‘A List’ or Verizon’s ‘Friends and Family’. Simply add ChatTime’s local access number to the list in order to avoid local call charges from your carrier.
Callback is another option in countries outside of the USA where operators offer free incoming calls.
When making a FREE call to another user of ChatTime both your local minutes and the local minutes of the person you are calling are used during the call. Remember that there is no charge from ChatTime for the international leg of the call.
