ChatTime lets you make international calls at low rates by turning your local call to an international call through our local access numbers. By using your voice network for your calls, you enjoy crystal clear voice quality and reliable connection. So you call as normal and you pay your phone operator for a local/national call and pay us a small fee on top of this for the international part of your call.
Currently ChatTime is only available for iPhone and Android phone devices.
Your international calls are connected as local calls through ChatTime's extensive list of local access numbers. If you have a Friends & Family program, add our local access numbers to your list to avoid using your plan minutes. You can also manage your call settings so that you optimize your current mobile operator plan, in cases where you have free incoming calls from your mobile operator, or have unlimited outgoing local calls.
With ChatTime call credits, you can call any international number (landline or mobile numbers). A ChatTime call is like any other international call but cheaper.

Data connection (Wi-Fi or cellular) is used briefly only to initiate a call. The call itself is sent over your cellular voice network. Because calls are not sent over the your mobile phone’s internet connection, you will experience consistently great call quality and will not be confined to Wifi hotspots.
ChatTime call credits are great for calling traditional landlines and mobile phones, whether you are getting your coffee or waiting for your taxi. With your call credits, you can call anyone and any phone at any time, at crystal clear call quality and cheap rates with lots of savings over your mobile operator or Skype.
ChatTime’s rates are charged on a per minute basis. Connection fees will apply for connected calls. All rates and call credits balances are shown in USD. You may also need to pay your mobile operator for local call charges. Please click here to view rates on ChatTime's website or view through the ChatTime application from Help > Rates.

Your operator airtime minutes will be used only for placing a local call; ChatTime manages the international part of the call.
However, many countries offer free calling to local numbers, for example AT&T’s ‘A List’ or Verizon’s ‘Friends and Family’. Simply add ChatTime’s local access number to the list in order to avoid local call charges from your carrier.
Callback is another option for certain countries where mobile operators offer free incoming calls.
If you are traveling overseas to a country other than your home country, we recommend using ChatTime ONLY IF you have a local SIM card of the country that you are traveling to.
